About FUN Creative

FUN Creative is a Tokyo-based photography and videography company specializing in proposals, elopements, and weddings across Japan.

Founded in 2023, FUN Creative was created with a clear vision: to offer international couples a seamless, meaningful, and beautifully documented experience in Japan.

Since our creation, we’ve had the privilege of working with more than 200 couples, helping them capture some of the most important moments of their lives — from surprise proposals and intimate elopements to full wedding celebrations across the country.

Our Philosophy

Our approach is rooted in natural, candid storytelling.

We focus on capturing real moments as they unfold — the quiet glances, nervous smiles, laughter, and emotions that can’t be staged. These moments are then translated into timeless, cinematic images that feel authentic and personal, photographs you’ll want to come back to again and again.

Rather than forcing poses or rigid timelines, we create an environment where you feel comfortable being yourselves. We guide when needed, step back when it matters, and always prioritize genuine connection over perfection.

Thierry Gibralta

Originally from France, I’ve been based in Tokyo for 15 years after first coming to Japan in 2012 to study engineering at Keio University.
After several years working as an engineer, I chose to pursue photography full-time, focusing on couples, proposals, elopements, and weddings across Japan.
My style is centered on capturing natural, candid moments and transforming them into cinematic, emotion-filled images that tell real love stories.

Aleandra Acosta

Born and raised in Peru, I now call Japan home. My journey into photography began with a quiet fascination for human connection — the small gestures, shared laughter, and unspoken moments that tell a story.

Drawn naturally to couples, engagements, and weddings, my approach focuses on capturing honest, unposed moments. The kind of images that don’t just show how the day looked, but let you feel exactly how it felt.
