1. Osaka Castle (Osaka-jo)
Osaka Castle is one of the most famous landmarks in Japan, and it’s surrounded by gardens that look beautiful in every season. More than just a pretty building, it also holds an important place in history as a symbol of Japan coming together after years of civil war. Nishinomaru Garden offers some of the best views of the castle, especially during cherry blossom season or when the autumn leaves turn red and gold. Sunset is an ideal time to visit, as the castle lights up against the sky. A trip here feels like getting two experiences in one, enjoying the gardens while also admiring the castle up close. 2. Umeda Sky Building
The Kuchu Teien Observatory at the Umeda Sky Building is easily one of the best photo spots in Osaka. The rooftop observatory provides breathtaking panoramic views of the city, particularly during twilight or at night when the city lights sparkle.
