Tokyo Disneyland Proposal: A Fairytale Morning
Ethan reached out with a dream - to propose to his childhood sweetheart, Chantelle, right in front of the iconic Tokyo Disneyland castle. For Chantelle, who’s been obsessed with all things Disney since she was little, it was a moment straight out of a fairytale waiting to happen.
He wanted everything to feel magical, yet intimate from the perfect timing to the best spot to capture the emotion without the distraction of crowds. Drawing from my previous experience photographing proposals in Disneyland, I suggested we plan for an early morning shoot, ideally on a weekday, when the park is still quiet and the first light feels soft and romantic.
The Proposal Morning
We arrived one hour before opening, and I brought an assistant to help manage the crowds.
As soon as the park opened, Ethan proposed right in front of the castle.
After the “Yes”
We spent the rest of the day exploring the park, capturing joyful moments around different attractions. Ethan and Chantelle were thrilled with how everything turned out.
