Proposal at Yagizaki Park: Helena & Anthony
When Helena and Anthony reached out about their proposal session in Japan, they dreamed of something peaceful - beautiful scenery, soft light, and an authentic connection that truly reflected who they are as a couple.
We chose Kawaguchiko, one of the most scenic spots near Mount Fuji, and it turned out to be the perfect decision.
A Serene Morning at Yagizaki Park
We began their shoot at Yagizaki Park, a gem tucked along the southern shore of Lake Kawaguchiko. The park is famous for its sweeping views of Mount Fuji and for being home to the largest lavender fields in the area. In early summer, the air is filled with the gentle scent of herbs and flora - a calm, dreamlike setting that felt like it was made just for them.
The morning light was soft and golden, wrapping everything in a delicate glow. There were no crowds, no noise. Just the two of them and the sound of the breeze moving through the lavender. My associate photographer, Alejandra, captured the quiet laughter and genuine affection that defined their session.
Every frame reflected the peace and intimacy of that morning.
Love Framed by Nature
What makes Kawaguchiko proposals so special is how nature becomes part of the story.
The couple caught the light in just the right way, and their easy smiles said everything about the connection they share.
A Perfect Day for Love and Light
By the time we wrapped up, it felt like we had captured more than just photos—we had preserved a memory that would stay with them forever. Their session is a reminder that sometimes, the best moments happen when everything feels calm and unhurried.
If you’re planning your own engagement photoshoot in Japan, especially around Lake Kawaguchiko, I’d love to help you capture your story with the same natural warmth and authenticity.
