Why Every Photography Inquiry Starts With a Discovery Call

We live in a world where almost everything can be done with a few taps on a screen. You can book a ride, order dinner, or even hire a photographer online in minutes.

While convenience is important, I believe the best experiences are still built through real conversations. That's why every couple I work with begins with a personal consultation before booking.

Rather than sending over a package and hoping it's the right fit, I like to spend around 30 to 60 minutes getting to know you, learning about your plans, and understanding the kind of experience you're hoping to create in Japan.

I believe every couple has their own story, and your photos and planning should reflect what makes yours unique.

What We Cover During the Call

During our consultation, we'll talk through everything you need to feel confident moving forward, including:

  • Your travel itinerary and schedule

  • The best locations based on the season, lighting, and your plans

  • Sample galleries so you can see what to expect from your session

  • Recommendations on timing, logistics, permits, and accessibility

  • Photography and videography package options to find the best fit

  • Any questions you have about planning your experience in Japan

These conversations also help us get to know each other. Since we'll be spending one of the most meaningful days of your life together, it's important that we're a good fit, not only creatively, but personally as well.

I'm here to help you create an experience that's thoughtfully planned from beginning to end. Whether it's recommending the right locations, building a timeline that works with your itinerary, or guiding you through the logistics, my goal is to make your day feel effortless so you can focus on what matters most.

Your proposal, wedding, or elopement only happens once. A little extra planning beforehand allows you to relax, enjoy the moment, and trust that everything has been thoughtfully taken care of.

If you'd like to see examples of my work, feel free to browse the galleries below. And if you're ready to start planning your own experience in Japan, I'd love to schedule a call and learn more about your story .
